Position Overview


Sapphire T.C.M. is seeking highly motivated Business Development Representatives to help grow our network and secure new business opportunities within the music and entertainment industry. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about live music, strong at relationship-building, and capable of working independently in a remote setting.


Representatives will work closely with Regional Talent Managers to source and connect with local record labels, managers, promoters, and emerging independent artists in their designated markets. 


Responsibilities:

  • Identify and reach out to record labels, artist management firms, promoters, and high-value emerging independent artists.
     
  • Present Sapphire’s services and clearly communicate our value proposition to prospects.
     
  • Build and maintain strong relationships within the music and entertainment ecosystem.
     
  • Generate qualified leads, conduct follow-ups, track outreach activity, and assist in closing new business.
     
  • Represent Sapphire professionally at industry events, showcases, virtual meetings, and networking opportunities.
     

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
     
  • Minimum one (2) year of experience in music, artist relations, sales, or a related field preferred.
     
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage leads, and prioritize tasks.
     
  • Energetic, self-motivated, and passionate about live music and supporting emerging artists.
     

Compensation:

  • Commission-based during the probationary period.
     
  • After successful completion:
     
    • Base salary: approximately $40,000/year plus commissions and performance bonuses.

Reports To: National Director of Tour Operations


Position Overview:


Sapphire T.C.M. is seeking a driven, highly connected Regional Talent Manager to discover, recruit, and build relationships with emerging independent artists across designated markets. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong pulse on local music scenes, an eye for identifying standout performers, and the ability to align talent with Sapphire’s touring and concert initiatives.


Responsibilities:

  • Scout tour-ready independent breakout and emerging artists, bands, DJs, and specialty performers across your region. With support backing for regional or national touring.
     
  • Evaluate talent to ensure alignment with Sapphire’s touring standards and brand direction.
     
  • Established and maintain strong relationships with tour-ready artists, talent agents, managers, promoters, record labels, and local industry contacts.
     
  • Attend local shows, showcases, festivals, and networking events on behalf of Sapphire.
     
  • Work closely with the National Director of Tour Operations to identify opportunities that align with Sapphire TCM business objectives.
     
  • Provide regular weekly updates, reports, and recommendations to NDTO.
     

Qualifications:

  • Proven background in music, talent scouting, artist management, or entertainment promotion.
     
  • Strong networking and communication skills within all phases of the music industry.
     
  • Ability to identify emerging talent and evaluate performance quality.
     
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple talent relationships simultaneously.
     
  • Passion for live entertainment, independent music, and artist development.

 NATIONAL DIRECTOR OF TOUR OPERATIONS


 Location: Remote and/or Hybrid if possible
Reports To: VP of Touring 


Position Overview:  (Executive Summary)


Sapphire T.C.M. is seeking an experienced National Director of Tour Operations to lead, manage, and optimize the execution of multi-city tours, concert events, and national touring initiatives. This senior leader will define operational standards, oversee production logistics, streamline cross-departmental coordination, and ensure flawless execution of Sapphire’s touring commitments.


The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep expertise in touring, live event operations, production, artist relations, scheduling, and venue coordination. 


This executive role requires exceptional leadership, strong decision-making abilities, financial oversight, and the capacity to guide multiple touring teams across various markets.


Key Responsibilities Include:


Operational Leadership

  • Direct all national touring operations, including planning, routing, logistics, staffing, and execution.
  • Develop and enforce standards for tour workflows, communication, scheduling, and quality control.
     
  • Lead tour managers, production managers, coordinators, and support staff across all active markets.
     
  • Oversee technical operations, production requirements, and venue compliance.
     

Strategic & Executive Functions: 

  • Partner with executive leadership to design and implement national touring strategies.
     
  • Forecast long-term touring capacities, growth opportunities, and operational scalability.
     
  • Provide executive-level reporting on tour performance, cost analysis, and operational efficiency.
     
  • Align all touring functions with corporate goals and brand direction.
     

Financial & Contractual Oversight:

  • Collaborate with finance on tour budgets, settlements, contracts, and operational expenses.
     
  • Manage vendor contracts, transportation providers, and production suppliers.
     
  • Ensure efficient execution of settlement processes, documentation, and compliance.
     

Artist, Venue & Partner Relations:

  • Serve as the primary operational liaison between artists, agents, promoters, and venues.
     
  • Oversee advancing processes: hospitality, staging, backline, technical riders, security, and timelines.
     
  • Maintain professional, diplomatic, and proactive relationships with all touring partners.
     

Risk, Safety & Compliance:

  • Ensure tours meet legal, insurance, safety, and regulatory standards.
     
  • Anticipate operational risks and implement mitigation protocols.
     
  • Oversee crisis management preparation (weather, cancellations, safety incidents, etc.).
     

Qualifications:

  • 5 + years in touring, live event operations, production management, or concert management.
     
  • Proven experience leading multi-market tours or national-scale entertainment operations.
     
  • Strong budget management, team-building, and leadership skills.
     
  • Exceptional communication and crisis-management abilities.
     
  • Ability to travel nationally and manage high-demand schedules.
     

Compensation:


Competitive executive salary based on experience, with performance incentives. Salary Range: $80K - $140k.
